LEE COUNTY GOVERNMENT PROVIDING ADDITIONAL COVID-19 BOOSTER

LEE COUNTY, NC — May 18, 2023 — The Lee County Health Department is providing an additional COVID-19 bivalent booster to individuals who are interested and meet the eligibility criteria. 

Vaccinations will be administered at the Lee County Government Center, located at 106 Hillcrest Drive in Sanford, on Fridays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Eligible individuals must:

• Be 65 years or older
• Have not had a bivalent booster in the four months
• Some immunocompromised conditions

Individuals questioning their immunocompromised conditions and need for available booster should contact their healthcare provider if they have questions. 

The Health Department is also providing vaccinations for those six months and older who meet the criteria for eligibility. Appointments will be available for this group at the Government Center on Fridays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. as well.
