LEE COUNTY GOVERNMENT CANCELS SOME PROGRAMMING AHEAD OF TROPICAL STORM IAN

LEE COUNTY, NC — September 29, 2022 — With Tropical Storm Ian coming in earlier than originally anticipated, Lee County Government has cancelled some regularly scheduled services and programs.

The County of Lee Transit System (COLTS) will be unavailable tomorrow through Monday, which includes weekend rides. If you have a ride schedule for September 30 or October 1, COLTS will be contacting you to reschedule your ride.

The San-Lee Park biking and hiking trails will be closed tomorrow and Saturday. San Lee Park facilities will be closed to the public on Saturday, October 1st. The San-Lee Park day camp will continue to operate tomorrow. Volleyball and gymnastics programming will continue on their regular schedules; however, Parks and Recreation will contact parents if anything changes.

All outdoor facility rentals have been cancelled, but indoor facility rentals remain scheduled at this time.
