Environmental Health Supervisor I

Starting Salary will Commensurate with Experience and Qualification 
 
Lee County Health Department is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, innovative 
and energetic individual to fill our Environmental Health Supervisor I position. 
The employee in this position supervises the daily activities of two Environmental Health 
(EH) Program Specialists, four EH Specialists, one EH Technician and one Office 
Assistant. The employee in this position will be responsible for planning, organizing and 
directing, budgeting, training, reviewing work, counseling and disciplining under the 
general direction of the Health Director. The supervisor manages all environmental health 
concerns within the county in accordance with state and local laws as an authorized 
representative of the State. This position also a member of the Accreditation Team 
writing and reviewing policy and procedures. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
Two years of experience at the Sanitarian level in a health department. 

Necessary Special Qualifications - Registered as a Sanitarian by the N. C. State Board 
of Sanitarian Examiners. 

Applicant must process a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
