Public Health Education Specialist
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs and outcomes to protect and promote individual and community health. Primary focus of this position will be in the areas of community health promotion, chronic and community disease prevention and teen pregnancy prevention. This position will also be responsible for assisting with the Infant Mortality Reduction Program and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in health education and one year of experience in public health education or a related field; graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of experience in public health education; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
