Public Health Nurse II

 Starting Salary will Commensurate with Experience and Qualification 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: This position functions as the Communicable Disease 
and TB Coordinator. All communicable diseases are to be followed with the exception of 
HIV, STD’s Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, all of which fall under another program. This 
position serves as a back-up coordinator to the HIV, STD, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C 
Coordinator in their absence. Surveillance, contact, treatment and follow-up are duties of 
this position. In addition, this position will provide services as the Immunization Program 
Coordinator. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited school of professional 
nursing and one year of professional nursing experience. 
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the N. C. Board of 
Nursing. 

Pre-Employment Drug Screen and a Criminal Background Check are required.
