FOOD & LODGING CONTRACT TEMPORARY POSITION

JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary purpose of this position to engage in enforcement and regulatory action in the Food & Lodging Program in Environmental Health.  This position is responsible for evaluating, pointing out practices contrary to NC laws, codes and rules and educate and attempt to motivate change by the owner, operator and/or manager in order to achieve compliance.  Work is performed under the supervision of the Environmental Health Supervisor or designee.  This is a temporary, contract position with the department.
