Current CHEP Events and Classes
The Lee County Health Department’s Health Education and Promotion section is currently committed to a variety of issues through coordinated programming, while also promoting clinical services made available to Lee County residents.
- Community Health Assessment and Evaluation
- Health Education Presentations
- Health Data collection, Analysis, and Interpretation
- Community Health and Resource Fairs
- Community Collaboratives
- Educational Trainings and Programs
- Resource Referrals by United Way’s NCCARE360 Platform
Additionally, we currently have programs targeted to prevent youth tobacco and vape use. Do you represent a school, after school care, recreation, or other organization that supports youth? If so, CHEP is eager to assist in needs related to preventing youth from using electronic nicotine devices (vapes), tobacco, and other substances. Support is available for school-based assemblies, classroom presentations, and educational programming. The CATCH My Breath curriculum for youth vaping prevention can be facilitated in all or part by CHEP.
More educational sessions and events to support the health of our community are available and upcoming!
