The mission of the Information Technology Department is to provide our customers with high quality, cost-effective, innovative, and responsive technical services.
The Lee County Information Technology (IT) department provides centralized computer, network and telephone services to County departments. The IT Department is responsible for delivering technology needs that align with the County's business strategies. IT operates the County helpdesk and enterprise network, including the installation, maintenance and repair of computer devices, personal computers and peripheral devices. The IT department prides itself on being a business tool that enables Lee County Government to provide its many services in a secure, reliable and efficient manner.
IT also administers the County's telephone system, including central phone and voicemail services; coordination of moves, additions and changes; review of all new building and renovation projects wiring standards; and coordination of repair contracts.
