Mission Statement

The mission of the Lee County Development Services Department is to maximize the health, safety, and quality of life for all residents. We work with the community to create an inclusive vision for our county’s future growth and development. The Department's primary functions are developing long-range and special area plans, building and site plan review, as well as historic preservation.

Overview

Lee County Development Services processes both current and long-range capital projects and plans. We hold ourselves, and our applicants, responsible for projects that enhance the quality of life in our community.
