COUNTY LIBRARIES TO HOLD COMMUNITY FORUMS

LEE COUNTY, NC – March 15, 2022 – In preparation of the new library project coming online, the Lee County Libraries will host two in-person community forums for residents to provide feedback and hear from Vines Architecture and Library staff.

The community forums will be on Thursday, March 17 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, March 23 from 9:30am-12:30pm at the Main Library, located at 107 Hawkins Ave., Sanford.

Vines Architecture will provide a brief overview of the project at hour intervals, followed by an opportunity for residents to share ideas for the new building. We welcome and encourage all to attend and to come with plenty of questions and thoughts to incorporate into the design process.

If you are unable to attend either of the forums, but would still like to give your feedback, please consider filling out our survey — www.surveymonkey.com/r/TBJVKQH — or visit the library at any point to leave a sticky note on our interactive Wish List boards.

For more information and questions relating to the new library project, please call the Main Library at 919-718-4665 or visit https://library.leecountync.gov/; media inquiries may be directed to Hailey Hall, Communications Specialist, at 919-718-4605, ext. 5521 or to hhall@leecountync.gov.
