LEE COUNTY, NC – May 22, 2020 – Lee County Government (LCG) offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2020 in observance of Memorial Day. County offices will resume current business operating procedures on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
As a reminder, many county facilities have been closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic response while employees have been working and available by phone and email. On Monday, May 25th, county employees will be observing the holiday; please note county convenience centers will be open as regularly scheduled. When county offices re-open next week, they will re-open under current guidelines. This means that facilities currently closed to the public will remain closed to the public but employees will be available by phone and email to assist with county programs and services.
The Lee County Government COVID-19 Information Hotline will also be closed on May 25th. Questions may be directed to the North Carolina Coronavirus Helpline at 1-866-462-3821 or North Carolina 2-1-1.
Individuals that are concerned they may be experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should contact their primary care providers to have their symptoms assessed and to receive guidance. If you continue to have questions, you may contact the Lee County Health Department at (919) 718-4640. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 9-1-1.
All emergency services remain operational and available to the public during this time - to report a public health or public safety emergency please dial 9-1-1.
