AERIAL SPRAYING TO COMBAT MOSQUITOS DELAYED UNTIL TUESDAY, OCTOBER 16TH

Lee County Government (LCG) Health Department will delay aerial spraying to combat mosquitos until Tuesday, October 16th.  The postponement is the result of a shipping delay of the insecticide that will be used with this mosquito abatement method.  Spraying will take place at dusk or approximately 6:30 PM on Tuesday evening.  Factors including weather conditions may further impact the schedule; any changes or extensions will be reported on the Lee County Government website at www.leecountync.gov and Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/leecountync.

For additional information about the scheduled aerial spraying and other mosquito abatement strategies employed by LCG, please contact the Environmental Health Supervisor, Anthony Williams at (919) 718-4641, Ext. 5388.
